You will really like it on an SL or an R8.2. Unless I want small DOF I tend to use the 60 and the 180 on the reflexes. Of course, then there is the 21, and the 28, and the 35, and the Summilux 50, and the 90 Summicron. The bag just keeps getting heavier and heavier. AF for macro? Now that is ROFLOL. I see so many people trying to shoot macro on AF. ZZZZZZt, ZZZT, ZZZZZZT, damn, ZZZZZZZZZZZTZZZZZT, ?!$#%@@, ZZZZZZZZZT. @#%$##@@&&@##$$&&/. As to pricing, I suspect that if you are tight with a dealer you could make some spectacular deals on R stuff. I was talking to the owner of a shop very, very close to the Leica Gallery and was encouraged to make an offer on some R stuff. He seemed excited that I also shot R. Unfortunately, all I left with was a couple of softies. Don dorysrus@mindspirng.com - -- To unsubscribe, see http://mejac.palo-alto.ca.us/leica-users/unsub.html
