Styrofoam cups, index cards, some people are into rigging something up
like Home fixer uppers do they're that kind of people.
And others try to buy it out of the catalog or hire a carpenter or a
painter. I cant see how either is better. Some times the Jerry rigged
stuff looks more "professional" because there is a trend among the pros
to all do it a certain way. Looked like the photojournalists were all
using index cards on Nikon flashes pointed strait up for a while. You
can amine how long ago that was!
I put a single layer of spun glass cloth over my Norman reflector on my
200C which makes the flash less "focused" is how i think about it in my
own head. BUT NOW YOU KNOW TOO!
This makes for a flash which is shooting more truley to the inverse
square law.

Don't I sound smart!!!! The inverse square law i had to learn in order
to get though my photography courses.
At the time i figured that and the circle of confusion and i was ready
for a snipe hunt!
No way did I learn it but i know what it is anyway.
Its when ever you half or double your distance you've gone two F stops.
That's all I need to know. And I'm glad I've known it what would I have done!?

But dont ask me to program you calculater for that one!
