I think the 1Ds holds the current full frame record
for commercially available digital products, having
apparantly beat out the Contax. but it still hasn't
reached the resolution of slow slide film. Also,
digitals still have problems with how they handle
differences in light intensity within a given picture
as well as colour balance issues. Of course they are
working on it! With my old DCS-5c the problems are
obvious. Even with extensive tweaking on PS I can't
balance all of the coulors properly at the same time
and image quality degrades with every correction.
