The story has a happy ending! Turns out that I was an idiot and I misread 
the counter :-) So I was at frame 26 or so and thought it was 36! Then I 
panicked etc. Well, taking off the bottom plate fogged the edges just a 
little bit and all but one of the pictures were fine.
