If you are refering to the 100mm macro APO, then its
in a league by itself. The older F4 100mm macro pales
in comparison. However, as versatile as the 100mm APO,
its not a lens for the race track. Due to its internal
floating design (focus down to macro as well as
distant-landscaping), focusing is slow because the
focusing range it covers is very wide. Having said
that, I find its a "must have" R lens because the
resulting picture image it can produce is almost
magical.
