(I can't say why). But get yourself a bottle of 15 year old Linkwood Single Malt, unscrew the top, place the bottle to your lips whilst tipping it back and swallow. If you civilized and not too thirsty and a glass with lots of ice and no water. You can build up to the really good stuff with practice and a bottle or two of good Canadian Rye.
