I forgot about those f*%#@g SU (Skinner Union) fuel pumps and the grief they caused until I learned to put a Bendix pump in the cars. I always kept a Bendix conversion handy for my friends, with all the fuel line adapters and setup for the stupid British positive ground. Should any one be interested, I have a full set of SU manuals available.
