Drop in on the Advertising Photographers of America or the PhotoPro lists and the only topic of conversation is digital. Photographers who used to use medium format for large ads and billboards are now using digital only. The only one who hasn't switched is Gary Gladstone and he is wavering. The photojournalists switched a long time ago because it's a no-brainer for photos that have to be immediate. The advertising group has switched because they are getting outstanding results that are available for review instantly and easily white-balanced with any lights. The Fuji S2 and the Canon D1s seem to be the current leaders for the former medium format group.
