Since the f/6.8 lenses don't have distance scales I don't know exactly... and even if they did have distance scales that's not what I look at when a carnivore is as close as this one was! I would guess that for coyote2 the animal was no more than 40 feet away, possibly closer. BTW this is a crop from horizontal.
