Does your slip too easily? Can't find it in the dark? Not enough traction? I for one have never had much trouble turning M-6 "Classic" shutter speed dials in either direction with my right index finger or my right index finger and thumb if I'm leaping across five or more settings. I do know people who solve the traction and control problems by using a fingernail in the knurling around the speed dial, but I am not aware of anything higher tech than that. Two things I would like to mention about M-6 shutter speed setting. One is that when I have finished shooting a scene, I always return the shutter to 1/50. That way, when I start shooting, I know instinctively what my speed is without looking. Two, is that can't use a softie because I always trip the shutter when I change shutter speeds because my right finger hits the softie when I reach over it to move the speed dial. Changing shutter speeds has been super easy with the large, knurled knob/wheel, high up on the meter. When I started to use an M6, with it's internal meter, I found it a PITA to use the almost flush mounted, tiny shutter speed wheel. What do you guys do? I was tempted to design and build an extension for the wheel/knob, but I figure that this problem has been going on for quite a while. Don't suggest that I put a M6ttl or M7 knob on it, as the location is different, as is the direction of rotation. What to do? What to do?
