"Pull My Daisy" is NOT a recent work of Frank's; rather, it's Beat Generation
stuff, spontaneously narrated by Jack Kerouac, shot on film in B&W, and worth
seeing. With respect, the remarks about "bring your Barf Bag" are utterly
inaccurate with regard to "Pull My Daisy" and do the film a disservice.
Frank, especially the later work, is difficult and may not be worth the
struggle for some, but this film is accessible, though perhaps a little loose
and wacky. I saw it as part of a Frank film festival in Portland, OR over 20
years ago, so my comments are based in old (but I believe pretty accurate)
memories. Respectfully submitted, Dan Kapsner (usually a lurker)
