Find a place either the kitchen sink or a bathtub that you can immerse the whole piece of glass in and fill it with just warm water, about the temperature that you would bath a baby in. Add no more than two drops of dishwashing detergent of a couple of ml of photoflo. Go away for two to four hours. Gently, and I mean gently start to pull the photo away from the glass. If you meet any resistance at all immediately stop and let it soak another hour or so. Eventually the photo will come off the glass at which point you dry it in whatever way you dry your photo's. What happens if the water is too hot? Have you heard of Polaroid emulsion transfers? What happens if I use a razor blade? How valuable is the photo and does your friend own any firearms?
