Didn't know what to show, since I hadn't shot much in the past two weeks, and film is still in the camera. But, the talk about B&W vs. color (funny how one is usually capitalized) sent me back to a couple shots from a few weeks ago that didn't look good in color. Neither my scanner nor I knew what to do with the funky blue-green snow, and the sun was making a weird halo in the car window glass. But in b&w, it was easy to just throw curves at them. http://quazynet.no-ip.org/PAW/PAW27.htm We were driving to Thanksgiving dinner. The last shot is just before the feast commenced. Dorothy said, "smells good, eh?" And Sadie is thinking, "will I get some?" 1/30 f/2 on iso100, cropped to about a 65mm angle of view. Nothing is sharp, but everything is recognizable. This is a look that I just couldn't get with my Nikkor 50s. Best - Carl Index: http://quazynet.no-ip.org/PAW/PAWIndex.htm - -- To unsubscribe, see http://mejac.palo-alto.ca.us/leica-users/unsub.html
