This is a new award conferred for the first time this year by the American photo magazine Photo District News (PDN) to distinguish products that feature the most innovative technology, application and design. In the category “Still Cameras (all formats)” the LEICA M7, a rangefinder system camera with aperture priority, stood out from the other products with its faster operation and enhanced convenience. The camera won the Vision Award for its high quality and its pioneering performance.
