But for some GREAT photographers, the digital workflow slows them down ---- a lot! --- I know personally a few Geographic and wildlife guys who can't stand digital, and are glad they don't have to. They'd rather be out in the field shooting, Don't forget that digital is just not shooting, downloading, white balancing, yada yada yada (a lot of yadas! ;-) )but there are crashes, electronic problems, booting and re-booting. programs freezing. Downloading all the photos before you can pull them up and then delete them (then there is the 'well - maybe I'll save it, play with it a bit later' issue) and all. What can happen to a light box? Bulb go out?;-) ...Sometimes, editors, and the photographer, want to see IT, the ACTUAL IMAGE, the Hunk O' Film that WAS behind the lens! And YES, I think it is actually impressive if someone does look at the Jockey's face and sees the skin of his clenched teeth on a mouth guard. Ed >> 2.
