With film, you have three choices. B&W, Daylight color and Tungsten Color. If you use color balance filters, you reduce the ISO speed drastically. With digital, I can shoot WITHOUT a flash, existing light...with color with no filters, and with the color coming out correct! Previously, I'd shoot B&W in situations like this, meaning existing light...but now color can be done in existing light. I like that.
