It means that Nikon will not be coming out with a "full frame" CCD to compete with Canon, and that in the years to come, pros are probably going to accept the fact that all of their older AF lense used will likely have to be replced with the newer designs (in the same way that the older nikor MF lenses are slowly but surely being replaced by newer AF models). dan c.
