(carbon fiber = plastic) The old grips were all metal and were just about the nicest fit with a finish that matched the camera perfectly. They have a sort of angled plane that fits the hand perfectly and they are thin, not obtrusive like some fatter grips made for the M cameras. We have commissioned a small re-release of these that we are able to offer to list members first. They are $89, new, made in black only, while supplies last.
