My thought is to screw it to the top of the existing pan head and replace the two pan/tilt handles with short bolts with the same threads, to lock the pan head in a horizontal position. But I haven't gotten around to it yet. It's a kludge but it's simpler and easier than bodging/butchering the Tiltall. And besides... real men don't use tripods anyway-anyhow. - -- Jim - http://www.hemenway.com Martin Howard wrote: > > Has anyone successfully butchered a non-Leitz Tiltall to take a > something like the Monoball instead of the tilt-pan head that is > normally attached to the top of the column? > > M. > > -- > To unsubscribe, see http://mejac.palo-alto.ca.us/leica-users/unsub.html - -- To unsubscribe, see http://mejac.palo-alto.ca.us/leica-users/unsub.html
