I shot one frame before, and saw that I had scared the bird, and got one more shot off. (motordrive M) better, because of thereflection. I played with it in Photoshop, but finally decided to play the shot as almost a straight scan, with the black boosted a little. By the way, This was Fuji 800 Press, with a couple of stops open from the indicated exposure. The scanner noise goes away when you give it lots of exposure!
