The optics are flawless and this lens is functioning like new. The clip on lens shade has slight signs of use and the lens barrel if examined very closely shows very slight marks from the lens hood being attached and removed . This is the most desirable version of this lens and a nice deal for someone that intends to use it. I may consider a trade involving a late black 35/1.4 ASPH-M lens in mint condition.
