A wonderful discussion which I believe brought out many of the nuances of the issues. Quantum physics would suggest that the observer, no matter how objective, will effect the phenomena under observation. That has also been my experience in photography. It becomes a matter of degree. And at some point below or above an (arbitrary) threshold one of us may say "documentary" while another may cry "propaganda". Bottom line - shoot - present - and be judged. - -- To unsubscribe, see http://mejac.palo-alto.ca.us/leica-users/unsub.html - -- To unsubscribe, see http://mejac.palo-alto.ca.us/leica-users/unsub.html
