It seems that I'm not getting all the postings, and sometimes they come a half day, or even a day later. As far as that shot of yours is concerned, it is a tad rough. Even in a grab shot, one should always have their compositional presence of mind. It would of had greater visual stability if the whole of the reflection was included. Otherwise, with a square, the use of negative space such as more of the space over the head being included would have greater effect on concentrating the viewer to your subject. It seems that your still getting the hang of your Roll-eye. But all good things come in due course. Here are two samples taken with a white-face 2.8F. The same sitter position, but two different camera positions. The frontal is my least favorite, as it was only the vehicle shot for a very close in portrait, which they didn't use. Go figure what's in an editor's mind. http://www.laweekly.com/ink/02/47/news-ehrenreich.php http://www.ocweekly.com/ink/03/06/cover-ehrenreich.php Slobodan Dimitrov bdcolen wrote: > > It's the new GW Bush Commemorative...;-) > GX...sorry about that... > > -----Original Message----- > From: owner-leica-users@mejac.palo-alto.ca.us > [mailto:owner-leica-users@mejac.palo-alto.ca.us] On Behalf Of S Dimitrov > Sent: Saturday, November 09, 2002 8:07 PM > To: leica-users@mejac.palo-alto.ca.us > Subject: Re: [Leica] Haven't posted an image in ages... > > So what is a Rollei GW?
