Therefore, there are not a lot of cheap 28's out there. If you are patient, you might find a Canon 28 F3.5 between $100 and $200 at a Camera Fair. Another lens to look for is the Minolta 28mm in M mount for the CLE. It frequently has separation that doesn't really affect picture quality and you can use the defect to bargain way down. Other than that, I can't think of any lens you will find near the $100 price point. You might have better luck searching out one of the 25mm Skopar's that was bought, and the owner couldn't figure out scale focusing. Good luck in the hunt.
