Well, no such luck. But it does make it possible for eyeglass wearers to actually see the 28mm framelines. While I don't wear corrective lenses, the .58x viewfinder is very useful when working with a 28mm with sunglasses. Downside is that I find focusing with this low mag version pretty difficult. If you don't wear glasses, the .72 is still the best all-rounder. - --Jim - ----- Original Message ----- From: "Lew Schwartz" <lew@clsystems.com> To: <leica-users@mejac.palo-alto.ca.us> Sent: Saturday, November 02, 2002 11:07 AM Subject: [Leica] M6 .58 or .72 > I'm shopping for my first M6 (must have 28mm framelines), but I > don't understand why anyone would choose the .58 finder which stops at > 90 and has less magnification over the .72, larger image plus the 135 ( > not that I need the 135, I basically never use anything longer than > 90mm) lines kind of "for free." > So, what's the idea behind the .58? - -- To unsubscribe, see http://mejac.palo-alto.ca.us/leica-users/unsub.html
