On that one she looks more relaxed. It is kind of fun and original with that strong red and blue around her. The soft lens...I think it is meant to be used at a certain distance, to make the softness appear around the edges of the face. If it hits the forehead and chin, as in some of these pictures, it looks a bit disturbing (like one of those $1 plastic toy cameras you could get in the 60's). Fill flash makes images look clear and pretty but can also kill the mood, like in a clothes catalogue. More peaceful backgrounds would have improved the pictures -- perhaps less depth of focus to separate the girl from the background and create some feeling of dimension. I would have tried to let the girl relax, play around a little and be more herself. She often looks a bit stiff.
