Er, huh?  Where did you get that information from?  I am HIGHLY skeptical
that anyone, much less a manufacturer, "calibrates" their meters by going
outside and using the "sunny 16 rule".

I certainly don't want my meter calibrated to someone's "sunny 16" rule,
where the exposure could be off as much as +- 1 stop, depending on where
they are, and how good their judgment is!
