Now that you've mentioned it, there is also a rumor(?) of Leica doing a limited rum of fifty special black M7's with a maple leaf and "50" on the top plate. Available in Canada only. I have my name in for one. The Noctilux story came up when I asked "why not 50 nocts with the maple leaf and '50' on them". PS: To B. D. - If I buy one I'll use it. Regards, Greg Tim Atherton wrote: >maybe, as Leica Germany poo pooed the idea of celebrating and acknowledging >30 years of E Leitz Canada, ELCAN/Rayethon has decided the Noctilux isn't >worth their while making for Leica any more - it must be a tiny part of >their business... :-) > >tim > >>-----Original Message----- >>From: owner-leica-users@mejac.palo-alto.ca.us >>[mailto:owner-leica-users@mejac.palo-alto.ca.us]On Behalf Of Ted Grant >>Sent: Saturday, October 12, 2002 4:33 PM >>To: leica-users@mejac.palo-alto.ca.us >>Subject: Re: [Leica] Noctilux to be Discontinued? >> >> >> >>Greg J.
