Subject: [Leica] Federal Express request

A strange request was received from Federal Express on their stationery
asking for my social security number for customs.  I have a Federal Express
account and found this quite curious since, I have ordered nothing and
expect nothing from out of the USA.

Does anyone know what is going on?

I am inclined to ignore the request.
