Just because I choose to primarily support my family outside photography doesn't mean that I don't use my camera "commercially" to support charitable groups or organizations. If I am the only non-snapshooter present I have the same responsibility to bring back images to record the anti-landmine protest or marriage festivities as a "real" photographer. Since I've been on the list I have taken Ted's advice and shot into the light to better outline subjects with backlight, including media glare or setting suns. I think that the flare problem may indeed suffer unit variability. My advice is to do what Slobodon has done, use the tool that gets the job done.
