The shutter knob, at 1/1000th, doesn't really drop into a "place" on the
IIIa. I've had several, and the 1/1000th always seemed a bit unsettled,
or undefined, in it's alleged position. It more likely settles in a
higher position than the rest of the speed settings. I've found it to be
normal on that kind of shutter dial construction.
