Ugly looking Leica M2, many scratches on the chrome, couple of dings, one eyelet spinning loose, no seal, vulcanite has been replaced with black snake (lizard?) covering, slight brassing on a couple of places, much paint gone from the back door, small indicator dot also gone, camera was repaired at one point by some poor soul who did not posess all the proper tools and therefore left marks here and there. And to top it off, I can t send any JPEG of the thing! All gone? Good, now about the good points. This is a nice user camera. It has no major ding or dent, I know the previous owner and he took good care of the thing from a mechanical standpoint. Shutter works properly and so does the rangefinder, curtains in good condition, self timer and lever rewind, viewfinder is clear. The flash sockets were updated to standard ones, serial number is 1 061 XXX, this is a Canadian M2, assembled in Canada that is, but Wetzlar engraved. Will make a nice 2nd body. Price is $ 575.00 O.B.O. Strap and body cap included. Will try to answer all questions best as possible. Best, Robert (Un chevalier sans blason) ________________________________________________________________ GET INTERNET ACCESS FROM JUNO! Juno offers FREE or PREMIUM Internet access for less!
