I took the first place award in their National Competition and am thinking of going for the opening of the show and the awards event but flying from Boston for it seems like a stretch. I'd like to hook up with any list members if I do go though. Anyone out there going? Info on PHOTOsynthesis VIII can be found on the Texas Photographic Societies website www.texasphoto.org My image for anyone interested is found on at the TPS News page. The image was taken in a McDonalds on Nevski Prospekt in St. Petersburg, Russia and is from an ongoing series on international adoption. It was made with a Leica M6 and a 21mm, Tmax 400. I have three other images from the series in the show. Anyway, if anyone is going, or from there, and would like to get together please let me know. It would make it easier for me to make the trip.
