I like '60' very much: it's dramatic without overdoing the distortion thing. - you have done well to keep the distortion within manageable constraints. I could never get on with this lens - so I replaced it with the 21mm color skopar, which is much better for my style of photography. 'Delicate operation' is a super environmental portrait. The lighting is really good although I expect the exposure was a bit of a challenge. I think the composition could be improved slightly by cropping out say 20% of the image on the right hand side, thereby increasing the emphasis on the mechanic and his hands. I think I have seen 'boom' before and commented on it. I will reiterate that it's a well timed shot, full of drama and I love the colours. Good catch.
