I will miss greatly his presence on the LUG, as well his generosity in sharing his passion and knowledge of photography. That said, I felt he should not have posted the "slaves" post for which he subsequently apologized. In this latest fiasco, he got himself more and more tangled up with the email verbiage with each post. Ted is a man of action, not of words. His eloquence is in photos, not in his email. Like Ted, Stuart will decide when and if he should leave the LUG. Some of Stuart's recent his posts may not the most shining LUG moments, but they are not the worst. I have seen much better from Stuart. Let's move on. - - Phong > -----Original Message----- > From: owner-leica-users@mejac.palo-alto.ca.us > [mailto:owner-leica-users@mejac.palo-alto.ca.us]On Behalf Of Steve > LeHuray > Sent: Monday, September 02, 2002 11:04 AM > To: leica-users@mejac.palo-alto.ca.us > Subject: Re: [Leica] the latest madness > > > > I would remind you that it was Ted Grant who vented his anger and > > frustration and in a way that some here felt was unacceptable. > > > > stuart phillips > > stuart, > > somehow i doubt that, having known Ted for several years here on the LUG > plus in person at his annual Leica New England workshop. my preference would > be that you leave the LUG--you are the problem. > > sl > -- > To unsubscribe, see http://mejac.palo-alto.ca.us/leica-users/unsub.html - -- To unsubscribe, see http://mejac.palo-alto.ca.us/leica-users/unsub.html
