Every company introduces a product at a high price to maximize profits from early adopters. As the time goes on, the price is lowered and at the end they go for a quite a bit less than the introduction price. Digital cameras are a good example as the entire cycle takes only a year. They typically have a retail price at the end of about 50% of the introductory price. Yes the M7 price will go down if that is what you mean by "screwed". If you want to "make" money buying cameras.
