Subject: [Leica] FS: M3, 50mm Summicron collapsible, bags, books

To finance some other goodies, I have the following items for sale:

Leica M3, single-stroke, serial no. 985xxx. Not a collector's item, it
has been used (but not abused) by me and previous owners. No big dings
or scratches, just the normal signs of use you would expect of a camera
made in 1959. However, the rangefinder and the whole viewing system are
clean and clear, the shutter speeds were checked by a Leica tech earlier
this year and pronounced spot-on, and the shutter release is
silky-smooth as always. I have the Quick Load kit installed in the
camera but will also enclose the original spool that came with the
camera. I will also throw in the original Leica leather eveready case
for the M3. Price: 900 Euro including air mail shipping in Europe and
North America, surface shipping elsewhere.

Leica 50mm Summicron collapsible, chrome, serial no. 1318xxx. I use it
on my Leica M3 with good results, but have decided to go back to having
just one 50mm lens (I already have the Summilux). For a lens this age,
it is in unusually good condition (I bought it recently from an LHSA
member, and we know most of those guys baby their equipment). Price: 400

Euro or equivalent, including air mail shipping in Europe or North
America, surface shipping elsewhere.

I will sell the M3 and the lens separately as described above, or you
can take both for 1200 Euro.

OTHER ITEMS:

Zeiss 35mm finder (I used it on the M3): 50 Euro.

Sekonic Twinmate L-208 light meter. This is an extremely compact meter,
which can be used in a meterless camera's hot shoe (that is how I use it
on the M3). It provides both reflected and incident metering. See more
info at:

B&H's list price is $169. My meter is like new, and I am asking 100
Euro.

Beige Billingham 225 bag with all inserts and two end pockets. The bag
is in very good condition, no tears, just a bit of visible wear, but
really minimal. A new bag retails for $278 at B&H:

And the two Delta pockets I am including cost $46 each at B&H:

I am asking 250 Euro or equivalent for the combo, with air mail shipping
in Europe or surface shipping elsewhere included.

Lager's "Leica: An Illustrated History". Mint in every way. I have the
first two volumes (cameras and lenses). 90 Euro each or 170 Euro for
both, surface shipping included.

With all items, I will ship from Germany if the buyer is in the EU to
eliminate VAT and customs issues.

In addition to the above, I have some odds and ends for sale, please
inquire about
price or make offer:

- - 67mm B&W light red (25) filter
- - original Leicaflex SL leather eveready case, almost mint condition.

Please contact me off-list if interested.
