When I got my first roll back from the lab I thought, jeez, what is this? There is just something about light and the way the Leica glass interprets it. Beautiful. I have compared shots in the same situation that friends have shot with Minoltas, Canons and Nikons and there really is a quality that has me hooked. Better shadow detail, highlights that are not blown out, really smooth tonal transitions, sharpness that I am amazed at. Not that I don't miss my auto metering, auto focusing, fast loading and long and wide zooming Canon EOS's... but there is an addictive quality to images from my M6. Not to mention that the Leica weighs a lot less than my EOS kit and a roll of film seems to last a lot longer when you don't have a winder. Love it. Addicted.
