But happily I am using a Bessa R2 that I purchased a couple of months ago. For these shots I used the 35/1.7 Ultron also made by Cosina Voigtlander. I loaded it with Ilford Delta 400, which I rated at 1600 and developed in dd-x for 13.5 minutes. I can't really attest to the success of that mix; I have neither enlarging equipment nor loupe, and I currently rely on scanning only. I have difficulty scanning the film after this process, and end up with "grainy" looking scans (although I doubt I'm really scanning at the grain level). Microphen would probably be a better developer with this method; I'll try that later. Then when I have access to an enlarger I'll know how well the negatives print. I like the Bessa equipment. The 90mm lens is really sharp and renders beautiful colors ( http://www.sleepytom.com/images/2450-02/med/c-culvers.jpg ), but is a bit hard to focus with the short rangefinder base. I'm actually considering getting a Bessa T as well. Thanks for taking a look. Tom > > Interesting pictures. I enjoyed looking at them.
