I think the sync system which goes to 1000th of a second is the Big Bell the A setting a whistle. I think a huge percentage of Pros found the M6 untenable because of the low sync speed. Now they can be out there in the blazing sunlight with their flashes.... ...And their M7's. And their Leica glass.
