Sometimes some photos/photographers are awarded for their images, sometimes for their own careers. I think this set of pictures is quite good, I like the way she played colors adding some extra "issue", I see she expresses herself that way rather the "normal" or "traditional" one. As photography is a medium it's fine we get how others "see" things despite our personal tastes. What the hell that does have to do with Leica, our beloved Oskar or whatever else I really can't get. But that's is OUR problem. Seeing pictures deliberately "badly" exposed, composed ... is something we have to deal with if that is part of the purpose. And I do think this one is the case. I like those pictures. You're asking for explanations, sometimes there's no such a thing but a different looking we should have to learn to look at. Some others do express other things. And maybe that's a way to go. Exceptional ? I see nothing so exceptional in there, but others decided it. Finally, what makes others decide those images are exceptional are persons like us, but diverse. kind regards Pablo - -- To unsubscribe, see http://mejac.palo-alto.ca.us/leica-users/unsub.html
