An inkjet print is an image, but not a > photograph in the true form. Blast me for this one guys. > > Chris Williams > New Orleans Chris hmmm . . . technically, if the ink jet print started as either a digital shot or from a film or plate, it is a photograph, that is, it is writ with light. However, if the original were somehow conjured into being, say in Paintshop pro, and no camera was involved, then it might be just an image. We usta call those things where we laid leaves and flowers onto Print out paper, and then exposed them to light Photograms, though I think technically they are images and writ with light. (I use writ instead of the more modern term "written" on purpose.) (Now, where is that box of Print out paper?)
