If your next Rolls costs you $128,000, and then, a week later, Rolls Royce cuts the price to $64,000 for the same car, you would reasonably feel a bit miffed. Why should those who have been supporting the society for years pay twice as much for the same benefits as those who join today? And, yes, this should have been discussed among the membership. LHSA used to operate that way, major membership issues being raised before implementation, but that has not been the practice in recent years. The other organizations in which I am active DO continue to operate in a more member-friendly manner.
