The R8 has an entirely different FEEL than probably ANY other SLR with it's trapezoidal shape (I know the Exacta but that was smaller and I wasn't born yet) and other issues. One could be optimistic upon reading Erwins thing on how Leica reinvented the application of ergonomic design and say it's a whole new ball of way feel wise. I think I'm buying into it.
