Or grain that can be accessed via an icon on my desktop (I have that it's called Photoshop);-) Thanks Austin, I'll look into it. I also got a lead on a local shop with an Epson 7600 in stock. I'm going to see if there is any way they will let me print this image on one of them before I buy...Maybe it isn't the 3000, but I've tried changing scanners and papers, and I can't imagine that my PC is causing the problem...though this is the ill fated Gateway back from the dead.
