The folks with whom I work in NYC have been handling all this - I just shoot, scan, do the PS work, and send them a disc - and scream when I don't like the end product.;-) B. Would you share the name of the lab? The pro labs in my neck of the woods print with Lambdas but they print B&W on color paper. I'd love to find a lab that prints digital, through Lambda to B&W paper.
