Bullshit, Joe.  Take your Libyan or Chinese or Argentinian reel.  Bounce it
a couple of times on the ground.  THEN try to load it.  Take your Hewes
reel.  Bounce it a couple of times on the ground.  THEN try to load it.  QED.

No, it doesn't matter where the reel is made.  But the brand DOES matter:
HEWES.  Nothing less will do.
