However I have recently purchased Vuescan which is excellent. The histograms it creates are much better than Nikons. It seems to capture shadows and highlights much better than Nikon Scan and therefore the pictures hardly need any adjustments at all in Paintshop. All of the photographs on my site in the 'CND March' album were scanned with Vuescan, they were not modified in any way, although some of them could do with a little more contrast. Sadly the user interface in Vuescan sucks and I have found Nikonscan to produce better colour scans in the limited testing that ive done with colour film. Cheers! You're a OK company! I've got my 80mm 5.6 El Nikor on my M6 now. With the bellows II i just picked up today at the Portland Swap meet I put on my Viso III! I think I'm good from 3 feet to about 1:1. Going to try my 135 5.6 el Nikkor but go out and get a 50 Rodagon. i also picked up a leica viso 5x magnifier. a vertical. Going out to shoot some bumble bees.
