Based on the large releasecollar they are FED 1g cameras origenally made
between 1953 and 1955, this is the least desirerable of the FED 1 series.
These are copies of the Leica II, no slow speed and 1/500 topspeed.

If the get a nice working example you can use with most of the Leica lenses
or copies of it. The only catch is that the lens has to have a cylindrical
rangefindercontrolcam. Because they don't use a wheel on the
rangefinderlever in the camera. You can NOT mount lenses like a 13,5cm
Hektor.

FED camera's are fitted standard with a FED lens, a prewar elmar copy,
coated depending on age of camera.

Zorki 1 used industars.
I myself think that a FED 1 is better made than a Zorki 1. I have about 5
FED 1's and 3 Zorki 1's.

The prices mentioned are a bit steep, but I know overhere in Europe they are
lot cheaper the in de USA.

Hope this will help you.
