I noticed upon a beautiful sunrise that it was not responding correctly. I changed the ASA number - no change, I changed the aperture- no response. However, it nailed 'sunny 16' during the midday and then failed under some shade while focused on a neutral gray slab of granite. I had my friend and his Nikon handy to compare which tool me past the denial stage. I am depressed. I have never had to repair my Leica before. I do not live near a good repair shop, nor a good Leica dealer. Can someone recommend a *very good* place to send my R3 for some love and care? I also do not know how much I can expect to pay. If it is too much I will probably want to get a newer R model. Recommendations, comments, or condolences welcome Cheers, Dave - -- To unsubscribe, see http://mejac.palo-alto.ca.us/leica-users/unsub.html
